This week, the Colorado General Assembly made history for kids. They passed legislation to provide $184 million for full-day kindergarten for all of Colorado’s 178 school districts.
Right now, in conflicts across the world, children are living through unspeakable violence with devastating and life-changing consequences. Bombed, shot, starved – children’s homes and schools have become a battlefield. No child should go through this.
We know that a child’s brain develops the fastest in the first three years of life. That’s why we’re so excited that the Washington state legislature passed a bill that will expand services for disadvantaged babies and toddlers across the Evergreen State.
