As the political advocacy arm of Save the Children, we are building bipartisan support to make sure every child has a strong start in life.
We’re doing this by advocating for high-quality early learning for children in the U.S., the safety of children arriving at the southern U.S. border and the protection of children living in conflict zones around the world.
For 3 weeks, SCAN’s Digital Campaigns Manager joined Save the Children programs at the U.S. southern border in New Mexico. Here are some of the insights she gained while serving families and children seeking asylum within the United States.

This week was International Youth Day, and to honor that, we’re highlighting the work of our high school Student Ambassadors. Most of them aren’t yet old enough to vote but work hard to engage elected officials and candidates on issues impacting kids.
