Parents and caregivers are key to campaigning for kids! With SCAN, you can influence decision-makers and help secure investments for kids.
Advocate for your own family and millions more.
Our Family Engagement Program offers training, flexibility, leadership development, and networking opportunities. To facilitate your participation, SCAN has funding available to help cover childcare and transportation costs related to many program activities.
Guided by their lived experiences, parents and caregivers are making change for kids! In 2023, advocates like you helped SCAN reach more than 7,000 caregivers, recruited 575 volunteers, and helped to reach hundreds of lawmakers.
Choose the opportunities that work best for you: share your story with lawmakers, participate in local events, or speak up on social media. Don’t worry — we’ll provide the tools you need to be a champion for children.
