Our Key Issues

Children in Crisis

When crisis strikes, SCAN speaks up.

Unthinkable conflict. Unbearable poverty. Unimaginable levels of need. These crises and more pose a grave threat to kids’ futures. Millions around the world have had their childhoods stolen. It’s not fair — but our elected leaders have the power to help.

Our Mission

We champion the rights of the world’s 2.3 billion children.

Surviving is just the beginning for at-risk kids. In the face of ever-growing humanitarian need, SCAN is urging Congress to fund urgent and long-term support for struggling families and communities — advocating for programs that keep children healthy, learning and safe from harm.

Urge President-Elect Trump to Put Kids First

We, the under-signed, call on President-Elect Trump to champion American values and prioritize kids during their first 100 days in office!

Speak Up to Keep Kids Safe

We, the under-signed, call on President-Elect Trump to champion American values and prioritize kids during their first 100 days in office!

If lawmakers don’t protect international food aid programs in the Farm Bill – our nation’s most critical set of hunger-fighting programs – millions of lives will be in grave danger. Please, tell Congress: Children need a better Farm Bill.

As one of the world’s most powerful diplomatic voices, the U.S. government has a responsibility to protect kids’ lives, rights and futures – no matter who they are or where they live.

LET’S PROTECT CHILDREN IN CRISIS

When kids’ rights are at risk, we speak up. You can help mobilize lawmakers, share children’s stories and make lasting change.
