The first few months of 2026 were JAM-PACKED with impact.   

Here’s how your voice helped kids thrive👇 

1. Child care champions like you sent 60,000+ messages, hosted 50+ events and held 80 lobby meetings during our Have a Heart campaign. 
2. New Mexico passed universal child care including better pay and support for early educators. 
3. You protected maternal, newborn and child health funding in the federal budget. 
4. Advocates from 15 states rallied around the Child Care Modernization Act at last month’s Call for Action webinar. 
5. National Youth Champions raised their voices for kids on social media and in local op-eds ahead of the President’s State of the Union speech. 
6. Washington State approved new funding for early learning and rejected a harmful cap to child care assistance.
7. 19 Members of Congress called for stronger protections for children affected by conflict.
8. Kentucky passed House Bill 6 and $135.1 million in funding to support families and child care providers.
