Seattle, Vote YES on Prop 1

September 26, 2025

Calling all voters in Seattle, Washington! It’s time to step up for kids and families.

Families, Education, Preschool and Promise (FEPP) levy (Proposition 1) is up for renewal – a $658.2 million investment in children’s futures.

Here’s why you should vote YES:

  1. Seattle Preschool Program: Adds 600 new affordable preschool seats, expanding to support 3,100 3- and 4-year-olds by 2032.
  1. Child Care Assistance Program: More than doubles the capacity of Seattle’s child care subsidy program, saving families an average of $6,500 per child each year.
  1. Prenatal-to-3 Supports: Promotes kindergarten readiness as well as parental health and well-being.
  1. Workforce Retention: Provides direct payments to 5,000 childcare workers to strengthen the childcare workforce.
  1. Education and Beyond: Invests in students’ mental and physical health, cultural and academic enrichment, afterschool and summer learning, apprenticeship, trade school programs and free tuition at Seattle Colleges for public school grads.

Prop 1 is a bold investment in Seattle’s children. Vote YES to build a city where every kid can thrive!

Fight for a Budget that Puts Kids First

The White House’s 2026 budget request is packed with deep cuts to lifesaving humanitarian aid, global health funding, school meals, and early childhood education. This is NOT the future children deserve. Tell Congress: Investing in kids is investing in America.
