Save the Children Action Network Endorses Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for Reelection

Cites Governor’s “Results-Oriented Leadership” in Delivering Results for New Mexico Kids & Families

September 9, 2022 – Today, Save the Children Action Network, a leading political voice for children, formally endorsed New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for reelection and announced nearly $500,000 in forthcoming in-state electoral activity in support of the governor.

“Save the Children Action Network is proud to endorse Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for reelection. At a time in which families are struggling with inflation, Governor Lujan Grisham has made child care accessible and free for most New Mexican families and established a state child tax credit to put money back in the pockets of hard working parents. She is a proven, results-oriented leader who can always be counted upon to put the needs of children first. We are confident that she will continue to make expanding early learning opportunities and addressing hunger a priority for New Mexico children, regardless of economic circumstance or where they live,” said Lacey Daniell-Miller, New Mexico state manager for Save the Children Action Network.

In conjunction with the endorsement, Save the Children Action Network is also set to release a six-figure digital ad campaign in support of Michelle Lujan Grisham’s bid for governor, praising her work to expand early childhood education in New Mexico. The ad will mark the beginning of a fall campaign that will encompass paid advertising and voter mobilization of targeted voters in the state.
