What is Save the Children Action Network? The Washington Post interviews SCAN president Mark Shriver to find out how this startup is making education ‘nice and necessary’ in politics.
We’re Empowering Michiganders to Be the Voice for Kids
Michiganders overwhelmingly support investing in our kids and investing in early education.
This is key because research shows the first five years of children’s lives are critically important for their development.
SCAN volunteer advocates are on the ground throughout Michigan!
At this time there are not any events scheduled, but please contact Samantha Meyer at [email protected] with any questions or to get involved.
Lead Associate, Volunteer Engagement
Griffen joined SCAN in 2022, but has been an advocate his whole life. In 2016, he founded his own non-profit organization, We Are Able, to empower young people to be the change they want to see in the world. Throughout his career, he has led local and national campaigns to address issues of inequality. When not campaigning, you can most likely find Griffen rock climbing, doing yoga, or anything outdoors!
