Seattle’s Vote for Education
July 14, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm UTC-8
The Seattle City Council recently passed the Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise (FEPP) Levy Bill to replace education funding for two expiring levies – the Seattle Preschool Levy and the Families and Education Levy. That means the FEPP Levy will be on the November ballot.
If passed by voters, the new levy will enable 4,000 more kids to have access to high-quality preschool. Additionally, homeless students in the K-12 system will get the extra support, and community college tuition assistance will help more Seattle graduates pursue a higher education.
Come find out what’s in the levy, how it will impact kids in Seattle, and how you can help make sure it passes this November.
Saturday, July 14 | 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | High Point Public Library, 3411 SW Raymond St, Seattle, WA, 98126
