Thursday Thoughts on fighting malnourishment

Every 10 minutes, a child dies from malnutrition or starvation. When children suffer from malnutrition, they struggle to fight off simple infections and illnesses. A case of diarrhea can be a death sentence for young boys and girls. No one – especially a child – should suffer like this. We can put an end to these preventable deaths and illnesses by investing in programs that increase health and nutrition resources. If we act today, vulnerable children across the world will get the much-needed relief to combat malnutrition and other life-threatening diseases.

Urge Congress to fund life-saving humanitarian assistance!
