Save the Children Trustee Jennifer Garner to Testify on Capitol Hill in Support of Early Childhood Education Funding

Washington, D.C. (March 15, 2017) – Save the Children Trustee Jennifer Garner is scheduled to testify on Thursday during the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee hearing titled “Investing in the Future – Early Childhood Education Programs at the Department of Health and Human Services.”

During her testimony, Garner will discuss the positive impact home-visiting and early learning programs, such as Head Start, Early Head Start, the Child Care and Development Block Grant, and Preschool Development Grants, have on kids from birth to age 5.
