The ad will begin to air in New Hampshire today and continue through Nov. 7th
Washington, D.C. (October 25, 2016) – Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) will release a new cable television ad today in support of Colin Van Ostern’s bid for governor of New Hampshire.
SCAN is spending approximately $260,000 on the ad buy, which will air across the state through Nov. 7th.
SCAN has previously endorsed Van Ostern and is committed to help ensuring his election this November with – in addition to the television ad – digital ads and mailings to New Hampshire voters highlighting his support for early childhood education.
“This race is extremely close, but New Hampshire voters care about early childhood education and want a governor who will invest in kids,” said Mark Shriver, president of SCAN. “I encourage all New Hampshire residents to vote for Colin Van Ostern as their next governor because he is committed to providing all kids in the Granite State with access to high-quality early learning programs, which will help put them on a path toward future success.”
The TV ad shows young children waking up, eating breakfast and getting ready to head off to school.
“Today, nearly half our kids don’t have access to full day kindergarten,” a narrator says. “But Van Ostern has a plan to provide it to all our communities.”
